FERAL CHILDREN IN THE BLOGS
"With a mixture of haunting melody and intense syncopated rhythms, Feral Children played a captivating set at Neumos for their CD release show, last Wednesday. Their new album, Brand New Blood, is already known for soaring tracks that carry listeners headfirst into dreamy soundscapes. But their live performance brings an intensity that makes their music full and real."
Three Imaginary Girls
“Feral Children’s set was good and energetic. The kids were into it. … ‘Kid Origami’ and ‘Universe Design’ are my two favorite tracks off of Brand New Blood and they were solid live.”
Sound on the Sound
"...'Woodland Mutts' and 'Rivers of Forever' conveys such introspection the emotional scars almost appear on the listener via contagion." - Reax Music

| PETER BRADLEY ADAMS IN THE BLOGS
"Things I'm loving lately: Peter Bradley Adams. He's an incredible piano player also. Love his sound!"
More Than Life
"I wish I would have been able to share this piece with my Grandmother; I think she would have liked it very much. It reminds me of her; the beauty and gentleness of her. Such gorgeous music…"
The Shooting Gallery
"While I was on one of my wandering quests for music a couple weeks ago I stumbled upon Peter Bradley Adams. The song that reeled me in was 'Los Angeles'.... From the opening chords to the closing ambient strain I barely moved."

| SEATTLE WEEKLY LOVES "BRAND NEW BLOOD"
Hannah Levin raves about Feral Children's latest album in this week's Seattle Weekly. She writes: “While a strong undertow of pop sensibility is what ultimately made [Second to the Last Frontier] hang together, a gift for pretty melodies and an openness to more complexly orchestrated arrangements is what most dramatically distinguishes Brand New Blood from its predecessor." Producer Scott Colburn is quoted: "Feral Children, like Animal Collective, are slowly helping the general music public turn a new ear to new sounds and a new acceptance of interesting sounds compounded into the pop format. It would be my dream that a band like Feral Children could be as popular as Nirvana or Frank Sinatra."
Seattle Weekly Reverb blogged about Feral Children's Jan. 27 CD release show at Seattle's Neumos: "Feral Children Crush Neumos: The only thing better than a band with two drummers is a band with three. I feel like a herd of elephants just stomped on my face." |

FERAL CHILDREN "BRAND NEW BLOOD" NOW IN STORES
Feral Children's new album, Brand New Blood, hit stores Tuesday, January 19th. The album has already won glowing reviews:
KEXP Blog: "But perhaps the most tantalizing album of the week belongs to Seattle’s Feral Children and their second haunting LP Brand New Blood. A complete musical manifestation of the Pacific Northwest’s gloomy and mystifying territory, it’s definitely a soundtrack to what’s left of winter, which in our case will last for another six months."
The Stranger: "…[T]here are some fine moments: the rousing, almost sweet chorus on the latter half of ‘Universe Design’; the drifting choral ballad ‘Inside the Night’; the semiacoustic, folky ‘Woodland Mutts,’ with its swells of something sinister underneath fluttering strings; the undertowed surf guitar that opens ‘Enchanted Parkway.’” |
